5) ACTIVITY:
We talked today about how the people of Jerusalem recognized that Jesus is King and came out to celebrate him when he entered Jerusalem. But not everyone was thrilled to see him receive their praise. The religious leaders were unhappy and wanted Jesus to tell the people to stop calling Jesus King. Jesus replied “If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!”
Today, gather some rocks with your family. Spend some time painting them and then let them dry. While they are drying, think of some characteristics of Jesus that make him such a good king (ie. kind, loving, servant, humble, awesome, wise etc.) Write those words on the rocks and then find somewhere to place them around your neighbourhood.
